Stupid title to this post, but where is all the money that's been dumped into the lending system?
Where?
It is sitting somewhere, but it sure ain't making it to the street.
Now when watching the automotive hearings, it becomes immensely frustrating to hear some congressperson far removed from almost everything give an anecdotal story about how he called his credit union who said they're still lending on cars.
Right. Like a congressman is a typical new car buyer seeking financing. Haven't these congresspeople been reading the news about how mostly no one qualifies for the auto loans that are available?
The reality in commercial real estate lending is even worse than what automotive lending is experiencing. The money is not being lent out for commercial real estate, except for a few spotless transactions.
It seems I'm becomming pretty negative in every call I have with lenders who are so uncreative that they can't even come up with any more good lies to at least lead me along to think I actually might be able to squeek a deal past them.
This negativity is getting to me.
